RUTH TAKEDA

Ruth Takeda joined the firm as an associate in 2006.  She is licensed in Texas as well as Louisiana, and worked for the State of Colorado for several years as a legal assistant in administrative regulatory law for the Office of the Attorney General, with client agencies that included the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners. She was also an administrative program specialist for the Colorado Board of Nursing for several years, in charge of the Board’s Expedited Settlement Process, which was for certain disciplinary cases involving the licensees under the Board’s jurisdiction. Currently she works in health care business organizations and transactions, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues and their associated appeal processes. Her practice if focused on federal and state health care law.
