BENJAMIN GAINES, J.D.

MANAGING PARTNER

Benjamin Gaines has been with Gachassin Gaines since 2011. He received his BS from Clemson University in Financial Management with a Minor in Accounting in 2005 and his MBA from Clemson University in 2007. Thereafter, he earned his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2010.

During his time practicing, Benjamin completed Leadership Lafayette Class of XXXIV in 2021, became a Board-Certified Health Law Specialist with the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization in 2022 of which he currently serves on the Health Law Advisory Commission, and completed Leadership Louisiana in 2025.

Also in 2025, Benjamin was appointed by Governor Jeff Landry to serve on the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board as the Consumer Member and was also appointed to the Board for the Louisiana Organ Procurement Association (LOPA).

Benjamin is a member of the Louisiana Hospital Association, American Health Law Association, and serves as counsel for the Better Business Bureau of Acadiana, Inc.

In his down time, Benjamin enjoys fishing, duck hunting, shooting sporting clays, golf, and spending time with his friends and family.
