Chelsea Carroll (Champagne) joined the Gachassin Law Firm in 2018.

Former Teurlings Catholic Rebel, Chelsea graduated from McNeese State University with honors in Political Science and Agricultural Business in 2014. During her time at McNeese, she served as the McNeese State University Rodeo Team Captain and qualified for the Intercollegiate National Finals Rodeo winning multiple regional titles. Her Legal career began during her time at McNeese as she was employed as a “runner” at Mudd and Bruchhaus, a Lake Charles law firm.

Chelsea graduated from law school in May 2017 while serving as a member of Law Review and interning for Justice James T. Genovese during his time on the 3rd Circuit. After graduation, Chelsea was admitted to the Louisiana Bar and served as a judicial law clerk at the 27th Judicial District Court, St. Landry Parish.

Her areas of practice include Medical Malpractice Defense and Liability of Healthcare Providers and Agencies. She enjoys representing our local Acadiana hospitals. Chelsea also serves as the Assistant District Attorney for the 38th Judicial District Court, Cameron Parish.

Native of St. Landry Parish, Chelsea lives in Eunice with her husband, Dylan Champagne, head Basketball coach at Church Point High School. Member of the Cameron Parish Lion’s Club and Acorns of Hope, Chelsea is active in South Louisiana and the surrounding communities. She enjoys volunteering at the Special Olympics and St. Joseph’s Diner and was proudly given the title of “team-mom” for the Church Point High Basketball team. Chelsea and Dylan enjoy staying active, traveling, golfing, hunting, watching all LSU athletic events, and supporting Chelsea’s Uncle, Coach Thibodeaux and the UL Baseball Team.
