JAYLEN SIMAR, J.D.

Jaylen Simar has been with Gachassin Law Firm since 2021 and practicing law since 2019. Prior to joining Gachassin, Jaylen practiced law in the area of insurance defense in Baton Rouge. She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western District of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Jaylen received her Juris Doctor in 2019 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While attending law school, Jaylen was a Board of Advocates member and Dean’s Scholar. She also participated in the ABA’s Client Counseling Competition and LSU’s internal transactional competition.

Her general practice involves the defense of healthcare providers. Jaylen is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. 

She is a native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and now lives in Lafayette with her husband Andrew, son Emmit, and their two dogs, Charlie and Poppy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid reader.
