Michael Dalman has been with the Gachassin firm and practicing law since 2021. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University, then his Juris Doctor from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he was a Senior Associate for the Journal of Energy Law & Resources as well as the Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association. He also served as research assistant to Professor Melissa T. Lonegrass, as an extern in the office of Louisiana’s Solicitor General, and as designated academic tutor for Legal Traditions & Systems, Sales & Real Estate Transactions, and Constitutional Law I. Michael received the CALI Award for excellence in Legal Research and Writing. 

His general practice involves defense of healthcare providers and Michael is a member of the Acadiana Inns of Court.

He was born in Phoenix, AZ and then grew up in Lafayette area, attending Ascension Episcopal School, and returning to the Lafayette area after law school. 

In his down time, Michael enjoys watching the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints with his  brother.
